When the attendant uses the "Dial by name" feature, the system searches the system
directory, then, if the search is unsuccessful, a standard LDAP directory (if there is one).
Pressing any key on the alphabetical keyboard switches the attendant set to Dial by name
mode.
When the first letter of the name or of the initials is entered ("m", for example), the screen
displays the following:

Enter two or more characters then confirm by pressing the required softkey:
- Name
- Initials
- Name-1stName
When only one result corresponds to the search, the screen displays 1 answer.

Pressing the Call softkey displays the telephone area (shown in: figure: Telephone Area
Example ).
When more than one result corresponds to the search, the screen displays a page indicating
the number of answers for this search and the corresponding list of users.
Select the desired user by pressing the softkey next to his/her name. The screen displays the
telephone area (shown in: figure: Telephone Area Example ).
