3.3.6 Lifted load limiting device
Since platform BIBI 850-BL complies with the “Enhanced stability criteria for limited size of
work platforms” (ref. point 5.4.1.5 EN280:2013), there would be no need for a load monitoring
system conforming to the parameters established by the technical regulations in force.
However, for the purpose of safeguarding the operators from all serious risks, ALMAC S.r.l.
has installed, as part of the standard equipment, an electronic device that prevents the platform
from lifting if the permitted load weight is exceeded by more than 30%.
In this case, the indicator light (4) on the control panel (as shown below) comes on and an
intermittent buzzer continues to ring until the excess load is removed.
Attention: NEVER exceed the machine's established maximum capacity.
