6.19 Track inspection and replacement
Check the wear and condition of the tracks, replacing them when the tread is equal to or less than 10
mm.
The tracks must be changed even before they reach this limit if they are cuts or tears are noted.
The p
hoto below shows how tread can be measured (on a car tyre in this particular case).
Tracks must only be replaced by specialized, properly trained personnel.
Comply with the “track replacement” procedure illustrated on the following pages (supplier's
indications)
