Troubleshooting
The flow sensor contains two resistive elements. Each element should be
approximately 8-10 Ω.
A Flow Sensore failed alarm will be generated if either element is
open.
To Measure:
• Turn off the instrument.
• Measure the resistance of each element. (Flow Heater, Flow Sense) at
the terminals inside the electronics enclosure.
• If resistance is much lower or higher than 8-10 Ω, the flow sensor must
be replaced.
