3.6. Individual Operations of Maintenance
3.6.5. Check of the fan and engine belt
condition
Check the ventilator visually. In case of any damage (e.g. •
missing parts of the material, cracks, changes in shape etc.)
replace the ventilator.
Check visually the belt for its deterioration. •
Traverse (across the belt width) cracks are acceptable. Lon-•
gitudinal (direction of belt length) cracks that intersect with
traverse cracks are not acceptable. Replace the belt if it is
frayed or has pieces of material missing.
