8.3.6 Working with nave Matrix mode
To acvate the nave Matrix mode:
You’ll nd all menus from the Mixer mode in the main menu except some specic matrix funcon added.
To work with nave Matrix mode, you have to use the Matrix # buons rst.
Press TAKE to view the result on both screens
Don’t forget to press the correct Matrix # buon before pressing the Layer selecon buon, in order to be
sure doing the manipulaon on the correct output.
All the transions (Cut, Fade or Transions) are available in the nave Matrix mode. Although the Matrix
mode is acvated, you will be able to perform powerful transion eects seamlessly. It can depend on your
conguraon.
The Pulse² has 4 scalers, to understand how your eect will be performed, you need to know how many
scalers are used on your outputs. Don’t forget that you always need one free scaler to perform seamless
transions.
Example:
The frame and the logos are not considered as live layers and are not counted as using a scaler.

In nave Matrix mode, the menu “Cong.ode” allows you to choose recording Output #1 or Output #2.
In Matrix mode, the SDI output embeds audio from Output #1 and Output #2.
