Spreader Bar and Scale Attachment/Removal (Basic Ceiling Lifter model only)

The spreader bar features an attachment which allows the caregiver to change it in a few steps without
using any tools. Attaching the Spreader bar to the lift:
1) Insert the strap end onto the spreader bar attachment.
2) Insert the clevis pin through the attachment and the loop at the end of the strap.
3) Secure the clevis pin with the split ring.
WARNING: Spreader bars and scale must only be installed by a trained person. To prevent the
patient from falling, before every use, always ensure that the clevis pin is secured with the strap loop
and spreader bar attachment. Ensure that the clevis pin is locked by the split ring.
