PROBLEM TO CHECK
When returning to charge, the lift
passes the clip on the charging
station.
Check that the charging station is plugged into a standard outlet
and that the outlet has power. The green light on the charging
station indicates that it is functioning (refer to “Charging System”
section).
Clean the blades of the charging station with mild detergent.
Check if the contact blades of the lift are clean or have good
geometry.
Pass the lift manually through the charging station and observe
if the lift is charging then retry the RTC function.
If problem persists, contact your Arjo agent for maintenance.
Batteries are always discharged
after only a few transfers (3 to 5).
Put the lift at the charging station for a minimum of 8 hours.
If the lift does not detect the charging station:
Check that the charging station is plugged into a standard
outlet and that the outlet has power. The green light on the
charging station indicates that it is functioning (refer to
“Charging System” section).
Check if contact blades make good contact with charging
station. Clean the unit blades and/or the contact plates of the
charging station if necessary. If problem persists, contact
your Arjo agent for maintenance.
The display indicates good
battery charge but when you try
to transfer someone, the lift
stops.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the batteries replaced.
The lift does not work when
pressing buttons on the hand
control.
If the emergency stop is activated, gently push up the Power On
Switch to turn the unit back ON.
Check if the auxiliary up/down buttons of the lift (located near the
display) are working. If so, the problem may be coming from the
hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control replaced.
Only the UP button on the hand
control does not work.
Check if the strap is completely rolled inside the lift.
If display indicates a malfunction code (refer to “Display Symbol”
section), contact your local Arjo agent.
Check if the auxiliary UP button of the lift (located near the
display) is working. If so, the problem may be coming from the
hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control replaced.
Only the DOWN button on the
hand control does not work.
Check if the strap is completely rolled outside of lift.
Check if there is more than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) suspended by the
lifting strap. The lift needs a minimum tension to operate.
If unit display indicates a malfunction code, contact your local
Arjo agent.
Check if the auxiliary DOWN button of the lift (located near the
display) is working. If so, the problem may be coming from the
hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control replaced.
When hanging the hand control
on the spreader bar RTC
function stops.
The lift detects a weight variation and cancels the RTC/RTH
function.
Hang the hand control before activating the RTC/RTH function.
