Setting the ringing tone melody and volume
Every user has a choice of 12 different ringing melodies und 7 volumes (0-7).
Select the relevant user.
Press the menu key. Press the right arrow key (>) until »Settings« appears. Press
the OK key to confirm.
»Ringing tone« is displayed. Press the OK key. The display shows »Melody« and
the set number (1-12).
For example, the display shows »Melody <1>« to indicate that Melody 1 is set
for the selected user. Use the arrow keys to change the melody display. The
melody is played.
Press the OK key to complete the setting.
The display again shows »Melody« followed by the set number. If you do not
wish to make another entry, hold down the ESCAPE key.
Or…
Use the arrow keys (<) or (>) to scroll to »Volume«. The number shows
volumes 1 to 7. Press the OK key.
The display shows the set volume, represented by a bar. Use the arrow keys (<)
and (>) to adjust the volume. The volume is played.
Press the OK key to complete the setting.
The display again shows »Volume«. If you do not wish to make another entry,
hold down the ESCAPE key.

The volume can also be set to »0«. In this case you hear no ringing melody, the symbol
»Ringing tone off« is displayed and the LED is lit.

The LED flashes to indicate an incoming call.
