Keypad information
Keypad information are data in which the keypad characters are converted to specific functions
in the PBX. Normally the asterisk or hash key are used to switch the function. Your PBX
documentation will advise you on which keypad functions your PBX supports.

On-hook dialling:
Press the asterisk or hash key first. The phone switches to »Send keypad«.
Enter the relevant keypad function. If necessary, complete the entry by pressing
the hash key.
Lift the handset (or press the loudspeaker key for listening by loudspeaker). The
keypad information is transmitted to your PBX.

You are conducting a call and the display shows the calling partner’s number:
Press the OK key.
Press the menu key repeatedly until the display shows »Send keypad«.
Press the OK key.
Enter the relevant keypad function.
Press the OK key to confirm. The keypad information is transmitted to your PBX.
Frequently used keypad functions can also be activated by pressing a speed dial key. See
under »Additional settings«, »Programming speed dial keys«.
