Ascom Myco Smartphone Calling
The central phonebook is a search function containing contacts stored remotely on the system. Only
system administrators can add, or remove contacts from the central phonebook. See 6 Contacts, page 49
for details.
1. In the Phone app, tap the Call Contacts icon

2. Tap the Central Phonebook icon
.
3. Type a name in the First Name, or Last Name box.
4. Tap the Search icon
on the keyboard to search the central phonebook.
5. A list of contacts is shown below the search fields. Tap a contact to make a call.
5.2.4 Call Using the Local Phonebook
The local phonebook contains locally stored contacts added by the user as well as contacts from the
company phonebook. See 6 Contacts, page 49 for details.
1. In the Contacts app , tap ALL CONTACTS. All locally stored contacts will then be shown as a list.
2. Tap a contact to open the contact card.
3. Tap the phone number, displayed on the contact card, to make a call.
Search with the Local Phonebook
Use the search functionality to search for contacts in the local phonebook:
1. In the Contacts app, tap ALL CONTACTS.
2. Tap the Search icon

3. Start writing a name to search for. Contacts containing the characters that you typed will appear below
the search field.
4. Tap a contact to open the contact card.
5. Tap the phone number, displayed on the contact card, to make a call.
5.2.5 Call From the Lock Screen
A small phone icon is located at the bottom left of the lock screen. To get straight into the phone app from
the lock screen, swipe to the right on the phone icon.
5.2.6 Advanced Dialing
The keypad screen in the Phone app has additional functionality that can be used for advanced dialing.
Call the Last Called Number
To bring back the last called number:
1. Tap the Call icon
on the keypad screen, without entering a number. The last called number
appears above the keypad.
2. Tap the Call icon again to make a call to the number.
Call Internationally
To call internationally:
1. Tap and hold the 0 button on the dialer until a "+" appears in the number sequence.
2. Type the country code, followed by the phone number.
