6.3 Add a New Local Contact
1. In the App view, tap the Contacts icon .
2. Tap All Contacts in the upper part of the screen to open the local phonebook.
3. Tap the New contact icon
at the bottom of the screen.
4. Type in Name, Phone number, Email, and Address to the contact.
5. Tap the back arrow in the upper part of the screen to save the new local contact
To cancel the creation of a new contact, tap the overflow menu at the top right of the screen followed by
Discard changes.
6.4 Favorites
Favorites are used to collect contacts that are contacted frequently. To create a favorite, follow the steps
below:
1. In the App view, tap the Contacts icon
.
2. Tap a contact to open the contact card.
3. Tap the star icon in the upper part of the screen to add the contact to favorites.
4. Tap the back button on the handset.
5. On the main screen in the Contacts app, Favorites are now listed to the left of All Contacts.
