Ascom Myco Smartphone Troubleshooting
Wrong time, or wrong date. The handset hasn't received the
right time and date from the NTP
server.
Restart the handset. If the time,
or date, is still wrong, contact a
system administrator.
Time and date should be set
manually, if the handset operates
in DECT mode and no Wi-Fi
connection is available.
The handset calls an emergency
number when trying to call
another handset, or when calling
an international number.
NOTE: Cellular handset version
only.
The number sequence begins
with the same numbers as an
emergency number. Usually the
handset receives a list of locally
used emergency numbers from
the SIM card, but if no SIM card is
inserted a general list of possible
emergency numbers is used
instead.
If the handset is used without a
SIM card, insert a SIM card to
limit the number of possible
emergency numbers.
The signal strength indicator
fluctuates a lot, or shows a lower
value compared to other devices
such as commercial smartphones.
The signal strength indicator on
the handset is configured to be
more sensitive compared to
commercial smartphones, to
prevent interruptions to the
mission critical communication.
Do not compare the signal
strength indication on the
handset to other non-mission
critical devices such as
commercial smartphones.
