DIN EN 179 emergency exit door locks
The properties of locks are described by the ten-digit classification key according to DIN EN 179.
Tab. 2 explains the classification key.

3 High usage frequency in situations when there is little incentive to be careful, thus pos-
ing the possibility of accidents or misuse.

B Suitable for use on fire and smoke protection doors on the basis of testing in accord-
ance with EN 1634-1
1 Suitable for critical security function
3 High corrosion resistance in accordance with EN 1670:2007 section 5.6
5 Intrusion protection up to 5,000 N
2 Up to 100 mm projection (normal projection) of the operating element
A Emergency exit lock with handle actuation

For installation in single-leaf doors opening outwards only or
