Additional bolt for high doors
For doors with a height greater than 2 m, it is possible to expand the 3-way locking system of the security
lock to a 4-way locking system (Pic. 14, Pic. 15).
For this purpose, an additional bolt is attached mechanically on the upper-most bolt of the 3-way locking
system. All locks of the latest design are prepared for this expansion, so the additional bolt can be retrofit-
ted at any time.
The additional bolt offers the possibility of providing high doors with additional mechanical safeguarding.
With the additional bolt, high doors meet requirements for approval with intrusion-resistant effect.
Without the additional bolt, high doors (particularly tubular frame doors) are at risk of manipulation and
opening from the outside.
