Telephone operation

Redial
Using the telephone base:
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press qCALLER ID, pDIRECTORY or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until
the desired number displays.
3. Press SAVE.
4. The screen displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the number,
if necessary.
f Press X/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
f Press and hold X/DELETE to erase all digits.
f Press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY to move the cursor to the right or le.
f Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
5. Press NEXT.
6. Press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY to highlight one of the following types:
f Home
f Cell
f Work
f Other
7. Press NEXT. The screen displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing keys to
enter a name.
f Press X/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
f Press and hold X/DELETE to erase all characters.
f Press qCALLER ID or pDIRECTORY to move the cursor to the right or le.
8. Press SAVE. The screen displays Saved to directory and you hear a
conrmation tone.
Delete a redial entry
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE on the handset or telephone base in idle mode.
2. Press
CID or
DIR on the handset, or press qCALLER ID, pDIRECTORY on the
telephone base.
-OR-
Press REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or X/DELETE on the telephone base
to delete the displayed number. You hear a conrmation tone.
