Defining Bar Code Fields
Each bar code field requires a separate definition.
The printer can shift some bar code fields to avoid bad dots on the printhead.
Shiftable bar codes include: Codabar (NW7), Code 128, Code 39 (w/ or w/o CD) or MOD43,
Code 93, EAN13, EAN13+Price CD, Interleaved 2 of 5/Interleaved 2 of 5 with Barrier Bar, MSI,
UPCA, UPCA+Price CD, and UPCE.
The printer cannot shift the following bar codes: Aztec, Code 16K, Data Matrix, EAN13+2,
EAN13+5, EAN8+2, EAN8+5, GS1 DataBar, Intelligent Mail, MaxiCode, PDF 417, POSTNET,
Quick Response (QR Code), UPCA+2, UPCA+5, UPCE+2, or UPC+5.

B1. B Bar Code Field.
B2. field# Unique number from 1 to 999 to identify this field. 1 is the
default.
B3. # of char Maximum number of characters. If the bar code uses a check
digit, allow an extra character for the check digit. The actual
maximum number of characters is limited by the size of the label
and bar code density. Range: 0 to 2710. 30 is the default.
