6.3 General Configuration
The opacity measuring chamber basically consists of the following main components:
− Detector (Selenium Board)
− Lamp module
− Half-shell 1
− Half-shell 2
− Cover 1
− Cover 2
− Changeover valve with geared motor
− 2 fans
− Heating blocks (2 in measuring chamber)
− Orifice plates (in measuring chamber)
− 3 gaskets
− Ports for connection cables to evaluation unit (control cable and heating cable)
− Sample gas inlet
− Sample gas and purging air outlet
− Rubber pads
− Rating plate
− Probe holder (passenger car)
