6.7 Changeover Valve with Geared Motor
• Dismantle the opacity measuring chamber as described in section 6.4 Dismantling the
Opacity Measuring Chamber.
The changeover valve is located in half-shell 1 (exhaust gas outlet side).
• Simply pull the valve out of the half-shell by its aluminium housing.
• Disconnect the cable to the geared motor.
− The connector is held in place by barbs (on the side of the plug socket) to prevent
it from being pulled out inadvertently.
− Release the barbs by pressing inwards with a small screwdriver.
