When the needle is positioned for In-Plane insertion, a rectangular box representing the probe face appears on the
bottom right side of the screen. Since the needle is inserted “in plane” to the ultrasound bean, the Pinpoint™ GT
Needle Technology Virtual Needle Image does not show a Point of Intersection Circle.
Note: When the needle is positioned back to an Out-of-Plane placement, the In-Plane box is not displayed and
the Pinpoint™ GT Needle Technology Virtual Image includes the Point of Intersection Circle.
