Formula 2:
Calculates the maximum frame rate based on the frame transmission time:
Example
Assume that you are using a monochrome scA750-60 camera set for an exposure time of 2000 µs
and for 600 x 400 resolution. Also assume that you have checked the value of the Device Current
Throughput parameter and the Payload Size parameters and found them to be 110000000 and
240000 respectively.
Formula 1:
Max Frames/s = 68.4 frames/s
Formula 2:
Max Frames/s = 458.3 frames/s
Formula one returns the lowest value. So in this case, the limiting factor is the sum of the exposure
time plus the sensor readout time and the maximum allowed acquisition frame rate would be 68.4
frames per second.
