1. Condition for granting the Limited Warranty
The. Receipt of the product by the shipping company with the acceptance and checked by the recipient;
B. Technical delivery report completed by the Baumer S.A. representative or by a person duly authorized for its
execution;
c. Completed and approved Installation Qualification and Operation Qualification Protocols (where applicable).
2. Condition for granting the Limited Warranty
a. The proof of the performance of preventive maintenance in accordance with the Maintenance Manual.
Note: the warranty of the exchanged components is conditioned to the term of Section III.8. Upon receipt of the
replaced component under warranty and, after technical analysis, if undue replacement is proven (for misuse, non-
original component or situation that does not characterize product failure or warranty component), Baumer S.A.
reserves the right to charge the replaced component to the Buyer or person responsible for the exchange.
V. Exclusions
The following items, among others compatible with the above, are not covered by the warranty:
1. Spot installation services;
2. Consulting services;
3. Components external to the Product;
4. Materials for cleaning, conservation and wear and tear from normal use;
5. Paper and glass;
6. Preventive maintenance workforce;
7. Qualification and process validation tests;
8. Periodic gauging and calibration of measuring and control instruments;
9. Software update of the controller (when applicable), except in cases where the program's proven failures adversely
affect the operating and safety conditions;
10. Travel expenses and technician stays, freight, packaging and insurance;
11. Costs with outsourcing of processes due to corrective and preventive maintenance;
12. Damage caused by faults in water supplies, electricity (interruption, sub or over voltage, transients) or other
changes subsequent to the installation qualification;
13. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, fall, neglect, recklessness or malpractice;
14. Damage caused by storage or use under conditions other than the specifications contained in the Instructions for
Use or Product Manual;
15. Damage caused by equipment which produces or induces electromagnetic interference outside the regulatory
limits;
16. Damage caused by accessories and Third Party Products added to a Product marketed by Baumer S.A.;
17. Damage caused by violation of the Product, attempted repair or adjustment by third parties not authorized by
Baumer S.A.;
18. Damage caused by agents of nature, such as electric discharges (lightning), floods, fires, landslides, earthquakes,
etc;
19. Losses and damages caused by the Product or product performance, including but not limited to loss of profits,
financial losses and productivity limitations, resulting from acts related to the hypothesis of not covering this warranty;
20. Damage caused to the installed product after the expiration of the warranty periods described above;
21. Damage caused to the Product due to transportation.
VI. Manufacturer's Limitations of Liability
1. The obligations assumed by Baumer S.A. as a result of this Warranty Term are limited to those expressly included
herein;
2. The solutions provided in this Warranty Term are the only and exclusive remedies offered to the customer;
