9. Load preparation
For the operation and efficiency of the ultrasonic washer process, one must always proceed according to the
guidelines in this manual. The load must be prepared following the recommendations presented here, always using
the appropriate schedule.
9.1 Practical tips for preparing the load
Between the use of the cleaning process, the utensils and instruments to be processed must remain in containers
with water and detergent or another type of product, thus preventing succession from being impregnated in them.
Immediately after eliminating the materials of this solution, the manual cleaning process should only be carried out.
You should put yourself in the lumen, so that there is a free flow of water between the articles to be processed, thus
ensuring that the entire surface of the material suffers the process.

Failure to comply with previous procedures will affect the performance of the equipment and the processed materials
will not be cleaned properly, as it is not in accordance with the RDC 15 resolution.
When loading instruments in the basket, observe the following precautions:
• Do not drop objects into the vacuum wash tank, as they may damage ultrasonic transducers;
• Do not place the articles to be cleaned directly in the wash tank (tub);
• Do not allow the articles to be cleaned to make contact with the sides of the tank (tub);
• Do not overload the basket. It is correct to validate your process with the Performance Calibration
Protocol to determine the maximum load range;
• Use always the appropriate size connector for the instrument with the light cleaned or in a quick
connection point if the instrument has one;
• Always open the box instruments with braces (tiles, pliers, etc.);
• Always ensure that the highlights for lumens instruments are open;
• Disassemble the instruments designed to be disassembled;
