Variable speed drive configuration WEG CFW11 for operation with ACP LINK
The setup of the VSD must be done in accordance with the information in this section. The settings handled
in this section are minimum requirements for the VSD setup, in order to operate correctly with the BITZER
ACP LINK. See the operating manual from the VSD supplier for further reference. Other settings can be
configured as desired, taking into account following notes.
NOTICE
Disable JOG function.
Disable torque boost / preflux functions.
Safe stop must be used if present. Hardwire from safety chain to VSD.
A
utotune functions may be used, before configuration of the VSD.
NOTICE
Customer must assure that a break in the safety chain (high pressure switch, emergency stop) stops the
motor immediately.
NOTICE
Before configuring the frequency inverter, make sure that it is not released to run the motor.
NOTICE
It is imperative to check direction of rotation, after configuration of the frequency inverter, but before
operation the compressor. Operation in the wrong direction can damage the compressor. See subsequent
section on how to check direction of rotation.
NOTICE
The frequency inverter must be power-cycled after changing any of the following parameters:
Maximum speed (Par. No. 134), Ref. scale factor (Par. No. 208), Nominal rated speed (Par. No. 402).
The table below shows the settings to be used for WEG CFW11 frequency inverters on ACP.
