4.8.3. Congurationofalarms
To define the notification mode and criticality of alarms, follow these steps:
1) NOTIFICATION menu > Alarms:

Tick the box to enable alarm selection.

Tick the box for the alarm to be identified on the LED on the front panel of the Netsilon device and notified via a
relay contact.

Tick the box for the alarm to be sent by e-mail (see Chapter 4.7.1 SMTPconguration).

Tick the box for the alarm to be sent in trap format (see Chapter 4.7.2 CongurationSNMPtrap).

Choosing the alarm criticality level: minor, major or critical.
