REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
Removal
1. Remove the recoil starter. (See page 5-2)
2. Remove the two bolts securing the CDI and coil unit.
3. Disconnect the Blue/Red lead wire from the unit.
4. Remove the flywheel nut using the Strap Wrench or 1/2 in
breaker bar inserted in rectangular slot.
PRIOR TO REMOVING THE ELECTRICAL PARTS, DIS-
CONNECT THE SPARK PLUG CAP FROM THE SPARK
PLUG.

50 N·m (5.0 kg-m; 36.0 lb-ft)

NOTE:
Clean the flywheel and crankshaft mating
surfaces with cleaning solvent.
