MANUAL STARTER
DISASSEMBLY
1. Hitch the rope 6 into the notch on the reel 1 and turn
the reel clockwise in order to release the coiled tension in
the recoil spring.
2. Remove the screw 2.
3. Remove the friction plate 3, the ratchets 4 and the
springs 5.
4. Remove the rope 6 from the reel 1.
5. Slowly remove the reel 1 with the recoil spring 7 from
the recoil case 8.
NOTE:
Do not remove the recoil spring unless replacement is nec-
essary. Inspect the spring in the assembled position.
6. Remove the E-ring 9.
7. Remove the reel stopper 0 and the spring A.
