machine. The cut bars are then conveyed by the transport belt to the
subsequent machine.
The protective cap at the cutting device prevents anyone from grasp-
ing into the machine during operation. The machine stops as soon as
the protective cap is opened.
Depending on the product to be processed, the machine can be oper-
ated with a conventional cutting knife or with an ultrasonic knife. The
ultrasonic knife is especially suitable for cutting products without de-
forming them and it prevents the products from sticking to the knife.
The type of knife that is not used must be demounted during produc-
tion.
