protection

of

racks

with

solid

shelves

and

gangways.

The

gangways

shall

be

solid.

based

tests

and

shows

one

possible

solution

to

provide

adequate

protection.

Sprinklers

under

the

gangways

at

the

outside

of

the

racks

at

a

distance

of

approx.

0.15

m from

the

face

of

the

racks

(see

figure

K1).

The

horizontal

sprinkler

distance

parallel

to

the

rack

and

along

the gangway

shall

be

1.8

m

max.

with

one

sprinkler

min.

between

two

rack

posts.
