12 Sprinkler design characteristics and uses
12.1 General
Only
new,
approved
sprinklers
shall
be
used.
They
shall
not
be
painted
except
by
the
original
manufacturer. They
shall
not
be
altered
in
any
respect
or
have
any
type
of
ornamentation
or
coating
applied
after
despatch from
the
production
factory,
except
as
specified
in
12.9.
12.2 Sprinkler types and application

Sprinklers

various
hazard
classes
in
accordance
with

25,
and
as
specified
