Where

the

roofs

or

ceilings

are

constructed

using

beams

and

girders

or

profiled

paneling,

sprinklers

should

be located

in

bays

rather

than

under

beams.

Bays

formed

by

this

method

of

construction

should

not

exceed

0,75m depth.

Where

the

ceiling

is

profiled,

the

distance

from

the

ceiling

to

the

sprinkler

shall

be

measured

from

the

top

of

the

profile,

see

figure

L2

to

L6.

Where

this

is

not

practical,

the

roof

or

ceiling

shall

be

underdrawn

by

a

suspended

ceiling.
