1.3.2 Warning Signs
This symbol, found on the front of the tester, indicates that high voltage is involved and that there is a
risk of electric shock when using this tester. See cirris.com to learn about safety precautions you can
take to ensure employees are safe when testing with high voltage.

1.3.3 Medical Warning
A child or individual wearing a cardiac pacemaker, an insulin pump, or any electronic controlled medical device should
NOT perform high voltage testing.
1.3.4 Manual Handling
Before lifting or carrying the tester, Cirris recommends removing all wires and cables from the front connectors. Be sure
the power cord is unplugged when moving the tester. Handles are provided on the front of the tester to make lifting and
carrying the tester more convenient.
1.3.5 User Precautions
To help ensure safety during testing, Cirris oers dierent tools such as switches, mats, and light curtains that can help
create a safe testing environment. These tools are not necessary, but are recommended to ensure safety during testing.
