NOTE These features can also be configured from the User tab, under Supplementary
Services.
STEP 5 Click Submit All Changes.
Enabling ACD Service
Typically used for call centers, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) handles incoming
calls and manages them based on a database of instructions. You can enable this
with the SIP B parameter (
“Configuring SIP” section on page 105).
Defaults to no (disabled).
STEP 1 Log in to the configuration utility.
STEP 2 Click Admin Login and advanced.
STEP 3 Click the Phone tab.
STEP 4 Under Supplementary Services, in the ACD Login Serv field, choose yes.
STEP 5 In the ACD Ext field, choose the extension used for handling ACD calls. Select 1-6,
depending on your phone model. Defaults to 1.
STEP 6 Click Submit All Changes.
Enabling Call Back Service
Call back is a feature that forces the phone to repeatedly try a number that has
been dialed and received a busy response. The busy number is tried until the call
goes through and the phone rings on the users end.
To enable call back service:
STEP 1 Log in to the configuration utility.
STEP 2 Click Admin Login and advanced.
STEP 3 Click the Phone tab.
STEP 4 In the Phone tab, under Supplementary Services, in the Call Back Serv field,
choose yes.
