Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the Subnet Mask is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 378) is FIXED this setpoint is used to adjust the Subnet Mask. Ask your IT
specialist for help with this setting.
If IP Address Mode (page 378) is AUTOMATIC this setpoint is inactive. The Subnet Mask is assigned by
the DHCP server.

Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the Gateway IP is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 378) is DISABLE this setpoint is used to adjust the IP address of the gateway of
the network segment where the controller is connected.
If IP Address Mode (page 378) is ENABLED this setpoint is used to display the gateway IP address which
has been assigned by the DHCP server.
A gateway is a device which connects the respective segment with the other segments and/or Internet.
