Chapter 5 Configure Compex CGX3224 using Web Interface
19
5.2.1 Simple application on VLAN Configuration
Please refer to “Application on Virtual LAN” on Page 71.
5.3 Trunk Configuration
Port Trunking is the ability to group together several switch ports to increase the
bandwidth between Compex CGX3224 and other switch. This is an inexpensive method
to increase throughput between switches.
NOTE
To avoid broadcast storms, or looping in your network while configuring trunks,
you need to disable/disconnect all the ports that you wish to add/remove from
both sides of the trunk. Once you have finished configuring trunking, enable/re-
connect the ports.
Procedures
1. Go to Trunk Config from the Command window.
2. You can choose up to 4 ports for trunking by selecting ‘-’ as ‘T’.
3. Click on Apply button to make the configuration effective and save the latest
setting.
NOTE
You may set up to 4 trunking ports for the switch.
