– Steam hoses must be prevented from sagging (condensate pockets); if necessary, support steam
hose with pipe clamps, trough, or wall brackets, and install a condensate drain at any low points in
the steam line.
– It is not permitted to install a stop valve (e.g. a manually controlled stop valve, solenoid valve,
etc.) in the steam line, due to an inadmissible increase of pressure in the steam tank if the valve is
closed during the operation.
