C.1.2 Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader on Macintosh
To install Acrobat Reader 3.0 on your hard disk drive:
Run the Install Acrobat Reader 3.0 program located in the
EverSmart Documentation/Reader/Reader folder.
C.1.3 Using Adobe Acrobat Search Function

1. In Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0, select Search from the Tools menu.

2. The first time you use the search index, you will need to add the
EverSmart Jazz to the index list. To do so, select Indexes.

3. Select Add.

4. Select the index.pdx file on the CD-ROM drive.

5. Click OK.

6. To search for a topic, select Search from the Tools menu. In the
Search window, select Query.

7. Type the text you would like to search for in the Find Results
Containing box.

8. Click Search.

9. The Search Results window appears, containing a list of books
where your word was found. Select which book you want to look
at first, and click View.

10. The PDF file opens with all the occurrences of the search text
highlighted. Press Command-U to navigate between the hits.

You will have to restart your Macintosh once the Installation is completed.
The manuals in PDF format can be read on a PC with Windows NT,
Windows 95, Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11, using Adobe Acrobat Reader
3.0. If you do not have this Acrobat version on your PC, you can download
it from the Adobe web site.
If your Adobe Acrobat Reader does not include a Search function, install the
Adobe Acrobat Reader provided on this CD-ROM.
