Clinical Applications
Intended Use
The excel HR is intended for use in surgical and aesthetic applications in the medical specialties of
dermatology and general and plastic surgery.
Indications for Use
1064 nm Indications
The 1064 nm wavelength of the excel HR is indicated for:
• Stable long-term or permanent hair reduction (Permanent hair reduction is defined as the
long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9, and 12
months after the completion of a treatment regime.)
• Treatment of vascular lesions
• Treatment of wrinkles
755 nm Indications
The 755 nm wavelength of the excel HR is indicated for:
• Stable long-term or permanent hair reduction (Permanent hair reduction is defined as the
long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9, and 12
months after the completion of a treatment regime.)
• Treatment of vascular lesions
• Treatment of benign pigmented lesions
