What’s the difference between the TIP CHANGE
command and the TOOL command?
THE TOOL COMMAND IN THE GANTRY WINDOW moves the
head to the Tool position near the front of the machine
for easy access. It does NOT disable any motors (or
motion).
THE TIP CHANGE COMMAND IN THE RUN WINDOW > Head
submenu disables the probe motors after moving it to
the Tool position. To return the head to the previous
position and re-enable the motors, click the Tip Change
Done command.
