If the DEIF Controller display unit is stuck on the start screen displaying 'DL mode', it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected. Then, try updating the display unit software. You can also try removing the power, waiting at least 10 seconds, and then restarting the unit. Also, verify that the power supply is sufficient. If the problem continues, the power supply might be too small, the Ethernet cable might be loose, or the display unit software might be corrupt after an incomplete start-up.
