Basic SHAFT generator controller tests
DANGER!
Complete all the previous commissioning steps before performing the basic SHAFT generator controller
tests.
For the SHAFT generator controller:
1. Deactivate switchboard control. Press LOCAL so that the controller is in LOCAL mode.
2. Press Close breaker . Do the GENSET controllers with external set point (network) activated synchronise the busbar
to the shaft generator? Is the synchronisation fast enough?
3. When the breaker closes, press Open breaker . Do the GENSET controllers with external set point (network)
activated de-load the breaker? Does the breaker open?

7.3.1 Basic SHORE connection controller tests
After completing the previous commissioning steps, the SHORE connection controller should have the correct protections
and parameters. The breaker close and open should function correctly.
This section describes some basic tests for the SHORE connection controller.
The complete list of SHORE connection controller functions is also given below. As relevant, test these functions in the
system.
