WAYPOINT MANAGEMENT
7.1
WAYPOINT DATABASES: COMPETITION & USER
 Competition Waypoints (“WPT COMP”) and User Waypoints (“WPT USER”); each one holds 186 waypoints.
 To visualize the Waypoint list, press the key (“MENU” function) and select the desired WP list.
 Waypoints can be manually created or imported / exported in the following ways :
- using a PC (via USB cable) using AirTools or GpsDump
- using a Mac (via USB cable) using AirTools or GpsDump
- using an Android Smartphone (via USB OTG cable or Bluetooth) using the GpsDump App
- using another Digifly AIR via the micro SD memory card (see 12.1 Micro SD Manager)

MANUALLY CREATING A NEW WAYPOINT
 On the MENU screen, select the waypoint database where you’d want to save
it. Highlight the first row (dotted line) then press the key (“EDIT” function -
described on sections 2.6.1 and 2.6.2).

Name
: 6 alphanumeric characters

Sym
: empty or numbers from
0
-
9
or letter
A
official landing zones (Airfield).

Note:
up to 16 alphanumerical characters (field below “Name”).

Lat. / Lon.:
Latitude and longitude.

Altitude:
altitude above sea level in meters

Radius
: radius (in meters) of the waypoint cylinder

CREATING A NEW WAYPOINT USING THE CURRENT POSITION (MARK)
 With GPS coverage, you can save the current position in the instrument’s memory using the “MARK” function.
 On the
GPS INFO
page,
LONG PRESS
the key, the " Save Mark?" message is displayed; press the key to
confirm or the key to cancel. The current position will be saved as a new Waypoint in the USER WAYPOINT
list (“WPT USER”).
7.1.3
EDIT WAYPOINT
 To modify an existing Waypoint, scroll though the list using the arrow keys or until the cursor is on the
desired one, then press the key “EDIT” function - described in sections 2.6.1 and 2.6.2.
7.1.4
DELETE WAYPOINT
 To delete a Waypoint from the list, go into the desired Waypoint, then

the key and confirm the
delete request by pressing the key, or cancel the procedure using the key.
 To delete all the Waypoints of a list: go to the WP list

the key, and confirm the delete request
of ALL THE WP with the key, or cancel the procedure using the key
