Inspection Method Using a Multi-Tester
1. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor from
the coolant passage of the cylinder head.
2. Immerse the temperature sensing part of engine
coolant temperature sensor into the hot water and
check the resistance.

3. If the measurement shows great difference from
the specification replace the sensor
Installation
1. Apply locktite 962T or the equivalent around the
bolt.
2. Install coolant temperature sensor and tighten
with specified torque Specification Torque : 3.0 ~
4.0 kgf.m
3. Connect the harness connector correctly.
