Crankshaft Position Sensor
Inspection
Piston position in the combustion chamber is critical
to define the starting of Injection timing. All engine
pistons are connected to crankshaft by connecting
rod. Sensor on crankshaft can supply the
information concerning all piston positions.
Revolution speed is defined by the crankshaft
revolution number per minute. Important input
factors are treated by ECU using the signal from
induction type crankshaft speed sensor.
