8. Function Setting
Function setting can be performed for shortening the operation procedure or adjustment according to the
paper used based on the purpose of the user.
8-1. Thick paper mode
Set this mode when double folding B4 or larger, thick (104.7 g/m
2
/28 lb or more) ne quality paper. Use only
thick paper in this mode. Use of this mode may result in unstable paper feed, and make parts wear down
quickly.

Press the key on the top screen, and
set the processing speed to [5].

The processing speed display reverses, and
the thick paper mode has been set.
Press the key to clear the thick paper mode.
8-2. Thin paper mode
Use the thin paper mode when handling thin and imsy paper such as rough paper and recycled paper. Do
not use for the paper other than thin type. When using this mode for the paper type other than thin paper,
paper jam may occur.
