1-6. Correcting folding misalignment
Do not put ngers inside during operation.
Keep away long hair, ties, jewelry and loose clothing.
It could cause injury.
1-6-1. Adjustment the folding misalignment in the up and down direction
If folding misalignment occurs in the up and down direction when performing hand feed operation,
refer to Chapter 3 “1-2. Adjustment the folding misalignment in the up and down direction” (p.3-3)
1-6-2. Adjustment the folding misalignment in the right and left direction
If folding misalignment occurs in the right
and left direction when performing hand
feed operation, adjust with the manual skew
correction knob.
For the adjustment method, refer to Chapter 3
“1-1. Adjustment the folding misalignment in
the right and left direction” (p.3-1).
1-6-3. Abnormal folding
If abnormal folding occurs, check the following points.
• Do not use paper outside the specications.
Particularly, deformed folding occurs
frequently in the use of thin, imsy paper not
appropriate.
• Use paper with grains of long grain. (if the
paper with grains of short grain is used, the
number of sheets to be used is up to 2 sheets.)
• If the paper curls, atten the paper to use.
• Set the auxiliary guide leaving a small
clearance between the guide and paper.

• Use the stapler as specied.

1-6-4. Variable folding between paper
When using art paper or coated paper the surface of which slides easily, the paper slides each other, and
misalignment may occur. In such a time, compress the paper lightly into this machine according to driving
of this machine.
