• Folded paper may result in Σ dent
depending on the paper type and
stretch of the folded section. This is not a
malfunction of the machine.
• When folding single-folded paper by
manual feeding, folding may not be
completed properly depending on the
paper thickness and stiness at the folded
section. Check in advance using the paper
to be used.
Performing Gate Fold with DF HAND FEED KIT Attached

When the DF HAND FEED KIT is attached, the
switching axis position of this machine will be
changed. Due to the above, when performing
gate fold by automatic paper feeding, the
folding line of second folding tends to double-
fold (as shown in the gure). This is not a
malfunction of the machine.
1-2. Staples
Applicable range of folding of stapled paper is limited.
Usable staplers
Flat clinch
Conventional
clinch
Use the at type stapler as the staples are
stitched evenly.
When using a stapler other than specied
item, the staples touch the folding roller,
and do not enter between the folding
rollers, or cannot process paper folding as
the staples touch the inlet of the folding
plate.
Do not use any other staplers than specied
as they injury the folding roller.
