3-7. Setting the Auto Start ON/OFF
When your hand leaves the safety sensor after placing a book block in the clamp, the machine will
automatically start binding. When you select ON, you can specify the time (sec.) from the moment you
leave your hand from the book block till when the binding operation starts.
Setting range: 0 to 10 sec. Default setting: OFF (Auto start delay time 0 sec.)

Press the ON/OFF button to display ON.

Press or to select the number of seconds.
If you selected OFF in step 2, you cannot specify a time.

Press the next or previous button to display other option screen.
When you place a book block in the clamp and your hand leaves the safety sensor,
the lamp lights up and an operation starts. If a cover has not been fed to the niping
section from the paper feed tray, the lamp blinks and the machine waits for the cover
to be fed to the nipping section. When the cover is ready, a binding operation will start
automatically.
