Installing the HEAT SINK
To install the HEAT SINK, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-15.
1. When silicon grease is already applied to the CPU or HEAT SINK, wipe them off
with a cloth in advance.
2. Apply new silicon grease (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. X-23-7921-5) on the CPU using a
special syringe.
NOTE: Apply new silicon grease as shown in the figure below.
3. Set the HEAT SINK in place and secure it with the following screws.
 M22.3C S-THIN HEAD screw 4
NOTE: When securing the HEAT SINK, be sure to secure the screws in the order of the
number marked on the HEAT SINK.
