REPLACE COVERS
Use the following instructions to replace the covers on your above or in ground dyno.
INSTALLING THE PIT COVERS—IN GROUND DYNOS
1 Slide the 4WD drum guard back under the runner mount. Secure the left drum
guard to the 4WD dyno using the 3/8 x 1.25-inch button-head bolt removed
earlier.
Note: The 4WD drum guards are shorter than the drum guards for the stationary
dyno and must be mounted on the 4WD dyno.
2 Secure the runner extension to the runner assembly using the two 1/4-20 torx
screws removed earlier. Secure the runner extension to the support leg using the
two 1/4 x 1.5-inch bolts and two 1/4-20 nuts removed earlier.
3 Slide the runner assembly towards the 4WD dyno and back under the runner
mount.
4 Secure the runner assembly to the runner mount on the 4WD dyno using the
3/8 x 5-inch bolt and 3/8-nut removed earlier.
5 Secure the runner tie strap using the 1/4 x 5/8-inch torx bolt removed earlier.
6 Slide the stationary drum guard back under the runner mount. Secure the left
drum guard to the stationary dyno using the 3/8-16 x 1.25-inch button-head bolt
removed earlier.
Note: The stationary drum guards are longer (88.90cm, 35.00 in.) than the drum
guards for the 4WD dyno and must be mounted on the stationary dyno.
7 Replace the 3/8 x 1.5-inch flange bolt securing each runner mount. Tighten all the
other runner mount bolts.
8 Replace the stationary bridge cover and secure the cover to the front drum guard
using the center bolt removed earlier.
9 Secure the stationary bridge cover to each runner support pillar using the two
3/8-16 x 1/2-inch button-head flange bolts removed earlier.
10 Secure the 4WD bridge cover using the two 1/4 x 5/8-inch torx head bolts and two
3/8 x 1.5-inch flange bolts removed earlier.
11 Secure the left forward pit cover using the two 3/8-16 x 3-inch bolts and seven
3/8-16 x 1/2-inch bolts removed earlier.
